This policy applies to all activities booked with Wind aux Îles: windsurfing, wing foiling and eFoil lessons, packages, and equipment rentals.
Payment
Full payment is required at the time of online booking. Transactions are securely processed by Stripe in Canadian dollars. Wind aux Îles does not store any card numbers.
Cancellation or modification
Any cancellation or modification must be made at least 24 hours prior to the start of the course or rental. If this deadline is not met, 30% of the total invoice will be retained, without notice. The remainder of the amount paid will be refunded.
Cancellation by the school (weather)
If we have to cancel or postpone a session due to bad weather or excessively strong winds (over 25 knots for classes), no fees will be charged to you. In this case, we will notify you as soon as possible and find a make-up date that works for you.
If no postponement is possible, the amount paid will be fully refunded.
Rental: weather and wind
For rentals, it is your responsibility to check the weather and wind conditions. If you feel there is not enough or too much wind, call us to cancel or reschedule your rental. If this is not done at least 24 hours before the start of the reservation, 30% of the total invoice will be retained, without prior notice.
Issuing refunds
Refunds are processed by Stripe to the payment method used at the time of booking. The amount typically appears on your statement within 5 to 10 business days.
